When it comes to anniversary presents and surprises, it doesn’t get any better than this.
Carl Gilbertson and his wife Laura have been married for 10 years and to mark their anniversary, Carl arranged the most amazing surprise flash mob to honour his wife.
With the help of their friend Stephanie, who is the head of Musical Theatre at Liverpool Media Academy, he had a youth choir serenade his wife with a beautiful rendition of Bruno Mars’ ‘Just The Way You Are’ in front of dozens of spectators.
Laura, who lives with multiple sclerosis is clearly overcome with emotion as the choir belts out the famous tune in what will be remembered as the most touching and memorable anniversary surprise of all time.
On his Facebook page, Carl thanked all who helped him pull off the amazing surprise and added, for Laura;
“My babe, you’re amazing – just the way you are”
