Stop Everything: The Heatwave Is Coming Back

Mother nature is a notoriously crafty mistress, but don’t be fooled into thinking the summer is over just yet.

This week’s cooler temperatures, mists and rain showers are about to give way to another spell of balmy weather by the end of the weekend.

A warm European weather system will boost temperatures as high as 25C in the west from Sunday to Tuesday, with dry weather expected across most of the country.

And according to Met Eireann, conditions will be dryer from today on, with temperatures reaching up to 22C in many places on Friday

Saturday will bring “a good deal of dry weather with sunny spells, but a few scattered showers too, mainly in the west and north” before Sunday dawns warm and dry.

Forecasters predict Tuesday will be “even warmer and very humid” with highest temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees.

Make the most of it though, because it looks like rain will move in from Tuesday evening on and Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly cloudy.
