It’s looking good on the weather front this weekend

Make your plans now.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a great weekend for weather. Starting off dry and bright today in most places and continuing for the next few days.

According to Met Eireann, today’s early morning mist and cloud will clear, with sunny spells developing. It will be warmest in the midlands, east and south with maximum temperatures of 17 to 23 degrees.

That good weather will last right throughout the day with only a slight chance of drizzle overnight.

Then tomorrow, Saturday, the dry weather will continue with sunny spells in most places. There will be cloud cover over the west and northwest but it will be very warm with temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees expected.

No major change for Sunday with dry, warm conditions expected. Again, the best of the weather will be in the midlands, east and south, with the west and north seeing a lot more cloud cover. Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 16-19 degrees in the west and northwest and 20-25 degrees elsewhere.

It’s also looking good, at this point, for next week with sunny spells forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
