Sorry, what?
Parents’ stomachs have been turned by a new facial that certain celebrities are getting.
The so-called “penis facial”, or EGF facial, uses dermal fibroblasts – or skin cells responsible for generating tissue – to aid in the growing of new stem cells.
These dermal fibroblasts are taken from the circumcised foreskins of infants and then blended into a formula to create a new serum, which is then used in the facial.
Yeah. We had that reaction too.
The facials have recently come to the attention of parents thanks to the wonders of the internet – and thanks to Kate Beckinsale who recently posted abut getting one.
In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, the actor wrote:
“After a long flight I do like to lie down and be covered in a mask of liquified cloned foreskins-frankly who doesn’t? Thank you @georgialouisesk for an amazing facial. I especially liked you reassuring me it would be ‘light on penis’ as it was my first time x.”
After people began questioning why Kate would want such a facial using the foreskins of circumcised infants, she deleted the post.
Facialist Georgia, however, left her post of Kate online, and that’s where the backlash started.
People were less than impressed with the whole debacle to be honest, and left a lot of questionable comments about the ethics of charging €600 for a facial.
And for using skin from the circumcised penises of infants too.
They’re not the biggest fans of that.
