It seems there may be a break in this case.
A man has been arrested as part of the investigation into the fatal assault of a male in his 30s.
The assault occurred at a house in Ballyconnell, Shillelagh, County Wicklow, on Thursday, 10th February, 2022.
On Thursday 10th February 2022, Gardaí attended the scene of the incident where a male, aged in his 30s, was located deceased inside the property with fatal injuries.
Gardaí in Baltinglass later put out an appeal to any person who may have information in relation to the incident to contact them.
The man, aged in his 30s, is currently being detained at Baltinglass Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
Investigations are ongoing.
