The unmissable Summer Festival Meeting at Galway gets underway next Monday with the first of seven competitive races going off at 5pm. The seven-day fest is going to be exciting and style-infused, and Galway is the city where everyone wants to be for the best buzz.
Stepping out in style for the Galway Races doesn’t have to be a chore. You just have to know the right places to shop and choosing a talented Milliner is key. I’m a big fan of Harper for a wedding, debs/graduation, a night on the town or off to ladies day at the races.
Being a Fashion Blogger for the past two years has led me to discover some super-talented people, and Andrea Tighe is at the top of my list. Andrea is a Milliner at Tí Tighe – her work eye-catching and edgy bit also has a touch of sophistication. All I have to do is send her a picture of my outfit and accessories, and she’ll make the perfect tailored headpiece. It’s great to support local businesses.
Here’s a sneak peek of one of two of my Galway Races outfits:
Pale pink dress by Genese London. Chloé sunglasses from Richard Hughes Opticians Galway
Watch by Fossil. Michael Kors clutch.
Shoes by Lucy Choí at Brown Thomas.
