Dozens of children have reportedly been injured after a school bus in Germany crashed into a building.
More than 40 kids were hurt when the bus collided with several cars, before crashing into the side of a building, according to Sky News.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident in Eberbach, which is approximately 50km east of Mannheim.
Three helicopters and ten ambulances rushed to the scene in the town and took the pupils to hospital for treatment.
The publication reports that 48 people have been confirmed as injured: 43 kids, the bus driver and four other adults who were on board the bus.
Ten of the people who are injured are believed to be in serious condition.
The incident is reported to have taken place just after 7am on Tuesday morning.
According to a police spokesman, the crash happened after the bus drove around a left-hand bend.
It was not immediately clear what had caused the accident.
Police spokesman Christoph Kunkel said that the police officers had been able to speak to the driver after the crash.
He added that a wide area around the scene of the accident had been cordoned off while the investigation into the incident was ongoing.
