5-Year-Old Saves Mother After She Suffers Seizure In Swimming Pool

The moment that a young child prevented her mum from drowning in a swimming pool has been captured on camera.

Video footage shows 5-year-old Allison Anderwald, from Portland, getting up off her sun lounger and making her way to her mother Tracey who is face down in the water.

The little girl brings her mum, who suffered a seizure whilst in the family pool, to the steps with her head above the water.

Allison then goes inside for help. Soon after, her sisters and aunts come running out. Tracey was taken to the hospital and was later released without injury.

Thankfully Allison, who apparently learned to swim when she was 2, was there and reacted quickly. Doctors are now looking into why Tracey suffered a seizure.

Earlier this week, another 5-year-old girl made the headlines for calling 911 when her father had trouble breathing. Read the full story here.
