Irish teenager killed in horror road accident in Australia

The accident happened in Cobden, Australia.

An Irish teenager has sadly passed away in a road accident in Australia.

The 18-year-old was thrown from the car when it collided with another vehicle.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Police confirmed the accident occurred at 1.30 am on Sunday, June 5th.

It is believed all three men were working in the area at the time.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Cobden, but couldn’t save the Irish teen.

The two other occupants were taken to hospital, but are in serious conditions. They are believed to be aged 21 and 30. They are currently being treated in Warnambool Hospital.

The female driver of the second vehicle was also taken to hospital.

However, she was transported to the hospital as a precaution.

A spokesperson for Victoria Police issued a statement after the horror crash.

“The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Bond Street and Cross Forest Road.”

The cars collided at about 1.20 am.

“An 18-year-old man was ejected from one of the vehicles, but died at the scene.”

A police investigation is currently underway.

The accident scene has been cordoned off, police announced.

The young man has not been named yet, but police confirmed he is Irish.
