Irish Rugby star Gordon D’Arcy and his wife Aoife Cogan have announced they are expecting baby number two.
The pair welcomed a baby daughter they named Soleil in May of last year and this week revealed to The Herald that her first sibling is due this winter.
The former Miss Ireland and her rugby ace husband (now an investment banker) are said to be “absolutely thrilled” that their family is expanding.
“Soleil will be so happy to have a new little brother or sister to play with in November,” said Cogan, who has just returned from a jaunt to Wimbledon.

A French name, Soleil translates as ‘sun’. Soleil could also be shortened to ‘Sol’, which also means ‘sun’ in Spanish.
The couple, who together run Form School, an innovative Reformer Pilates studio in Dublin 2, chose to avoid sharing photos of their daughter in glossy magazines, but have been known to share the odd sweet family shot on Instagram.
