Kathmandu Today reports that a four-month-old baby boy survived 22 hours under the rubble of a collapsed building in the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake.
The paper states that faint crying alerted rescue workers to the baby though they nearly missed him. Soldiers worked tirelessly into the night to locate the baby, stopping at midnight and resuming the search the next morning. The distraught father continued to search for his baby through the night. Thankfully, he was pulled from the rubble at about 10am the following morning.
