It seems congrats are in order for this beautiful couple.
According to E! News, supermodel Behati Prinsloo and her husband, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine, have welcomed their first child – a baby girl.
And her name? Dusty Rose.
When Levine suddenly cancelled a performance on September 19, the band was quick to clarify in a statement that the couple’s baby was on its way.
‘Maroon 5’s show in Hartford was happening in conjunction with the group’s fall 2016 U.S. tour and is being canceled due to the upcoming birth of frontman Adam Levine’s baby.’
Behati has through her Instagram account given her many social media followers glimpses of her growing bump, and Adam on the other hand, has on several occasions gushed about the prospect of becoming a father.
In April he excitedly told Entertainment Tonight:
“I’m ready to be a dad. You’re born to be a parent, that’s what we’re here for, really. All the other s**t is great, but it’s not what we’re here for.”
In fact, only weeks after the couple tied the knot back in 2014, Levine confessed to Ryan Seacrest in an interview that he had babies on the brain.
“We’re definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible. [I want] like, 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much though.”
Well, Adam. One down, only 16 to go! Congrats, guys!
