The body of a man has been recovered overnight after a car went over a cliff in County Cork yesterday evening.
The car had gone over the Old Head of Kinsale, reports Breaking News.
Gardaí at Anglesea Street Garda Station contacted the Valentia Marine Rescue Sub Centre at around 7.30pm, seeking assistance.
Units from Kinsale and Courtmacsherry as well as the Rescue 117 helicopter from Waterford were sent to the scene.
Lifeboats from the Old Head of Kinsale coast guard were also in attendance.
The car became submerged with water and the body of a man was recovered at around 3.20am this morning.
