A boy has been rescued from a ferris wheel after going on the ride alone led to him hanging from his neck in the air.
The five-year-old was going on the ride in Yuhuan Park east China while his mother watched from below when he seemingly slipped through the metal bars.
Yahoo News reports that the boy was trying to climb up onto the metal bars when he fell through them.
Footage shows the boy 137 feet above the ground hanging by his neck as the ride slowly makes its rotation to the ground.
Nobody else was in the ferris wheel carriage at the time.
Once the boy reached the ground, he was freed from the metal bars and rushed to hospital.
He suffered minor scratches to his neck.
