Drive carefully this morning, guys!
AA Roadwatch has warned motorists about heavy fog and icy roads in many areas this morning. And weather conditions are set to worsen throughout the day, with temperatures to dip below zero in some parts of the country this evening.
Frost can be expected, and drivers are being asked to take particular caution over low road temperatures on the N2 Dublin Road in Monaghan, the N11 Dublin/Wexford road at Enniscorthy and at the N3 Dublin/Cavan road in Kells.
Meanwhile, heavy fog is forecast for Portlaoise, Navan and Carlow, so make sure you drive carefully and keep your lights on should you be on your way to work or the school drop-off’s here.
