For weeks, rumours have been circulating that Cheryl and her partner, Liam Payne, are expecting a child. Now her former bandmate and best friend, Kimberley Walsh, has added to those rumours. Today she told The Sunday People that Cheryl would be “a brilliant mum”.
The friends were both in pop group Girls Aloud together. She admits that Cheryl is a natural with children and will make a very caring mother. After her split with second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, Cheryl has now been dating One Direction singer Liam Payne since earlier this year.
The Daily Mail reports that Kimberley is expecting her second child at the moment. She said today that Cheryl is;
“really happy right now. And she’ll be a brilliant mum. She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she’s used to the madness of children. Both she and Nicola [Roberts] are naturally good with kids.”
The comments come just days after Cheryl was photographed at Paris Fashion Week with a curvier figure sparking pregnancy rumours. The Newcastle native also hid her tummy this week in an oversized camel coat as she landed back in the UK. She was shown pulling the coat across her tummy area.

The pair first met while he was a contestant on the X Factor while she was a judge. Liam was then catapulted to stardom when he formed a band in 2010 with Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayne Malik and Louise Tomlinson, called One Direction.
They confirmed they were a couple after much speculation earlier this year.
