He leaves behind three young daughters
A 30-year-old father has tragically passed away in a workplace accident.
Christy Miley from Valleymount, Co. Wicklow leaves behind his 28-year-old partner Shelly and their three daughters- 7-year-old Heidi, 4-year-old Maisie, and 2-year-old Harlow.
Shortly before his passing, the dad was granted permission to build the family’s forever home.
However, Shelly now fears this will never happen.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help Shelly and her three girls get the home they always dreamed of.
Shelly is a full-time mum and doesn’t think she will be able to build the home without Christy.
A moving statement was shared on Christy’s special GoFundMe.
“30 yr. old Christy Miley set off to work as normal one morning last week, never again to return home to see his family, 28yr old partner Shelly, who is a full-time mum to their 3 beautiful girls, Heidi 7, Maisie 4, and Harlow 2.”
“Christy tragically lost his life in a workplace accident that morning leaving his young family behind, in their mobile home, on the site they planned to build on,” it revealed.
“Christy and Shelly had just secured planning permission to build their forever home. It now looks like this will never happen but, with your support, we can make this happen.”
“Together we can provide a home for Shelly and the girls that Christy would be proud of.”
Over €100,00 has already been raised for Shelly and her daughters.
The family is beyond stunned by the waves of support they have received since Christy’s untimely passing.
“The Christy Miley Memorial Committee and the Keating/Miley Families are beyond grateful and so very much appreciative of everyone’s extreme generosity. In the first twenty-four hours we have almost achieved half our target, Please keep your donations coming,” they shared.
