Netflix has just announced that it’s added La La Land to the site and it will be available to watch from this weekend. It was the biggest movie of 2016, winning six Academy Awards, including Best Actress for Emma Stone.
It tells the story of Mia (Emma), an aspiring actress, and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
Also coming to the streaming platform, from Sunday (November 12th), is Girl With A Pearl Earring.
A young peasant maid (Scarlett Johansson) working in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer becomes his talented assistant and the model for one of his most famous works.
