Coronation Street is reportedly set to pay tribute to Sinead Tinker in emotional New Year scenes.
The long-running soap has been navigating a heartbreaking storyline with Daniel Osbourne, as he tries to come to terms with his grief after the death of his wife Sinead earlier this year.
The young dad has been having a particularly difficult time about the kiss that he and Bethany Platt shared in the lead up to Sinead’s death.
Digital Spy report that Daniel’s difficulties will continue as the holiday season arrives and he has to prepare for his son Bertie’s first Christmas, as well as his first without Sinead.
Thankfully, Daniel’s family are determined to make sure that he and his son shouldn’t be alone for the New Year – and rally around them as they get ready to ring in 2020.
The publication report that the Barlows pop in to see Daniel – and come up with an emotional way to pay tribute to Sinead, as they get ready to mark the start of a new year.
The news comes as Coronation Street recently revealed what is in store for the Weatherfield residents this Christmas season.
And Tina O’Brien, who plays Sarah Platt, revealed that her character is set to receive a particularly festive surprise.
