Coronation Street fans were stunned last night when Jude Appleton left Weatherfield in dramatic scenes.
The compulsive liar left the cobbles after his lies were exposed, as well as the fact that he had hit his mum, Mary Taylor.
His estranged wife, Angie, ended their marriage once and for all after she found out the truth – causing Jude to loose his temper again.
He fumed:
“This is typical of you, you’ve been waiting for a chance to get out and now you’ve got one.
“I’ve done everything to keep this family together while you and you try to pull it apart.
“Like legs off a spider and I’m a spider and all that’s left of me is my head.”
Angie insisted he was “either mad or deluded” as Jude continued to try and defend his actions, claiming he was “desperate” as she told him to pack his bags and get out.
But when he did leave, he decided to take little George with him – causing Mary and Angie to frantically run through the streets, trying to find him.

Thankfully, Roy managed to convince Jude to hand the little boy over and George was reunited with his mum.
I’m afraid he wouldn’t say but it does appear he isn’t coming back,” he told them when Mary asked where Jude was.
Viewers have been left wondering if they have really seen the last of Jude.

According to Digital Spy, Jude will be returning – but viewers will have to keep tuning in to see how (and when) he comes back.
