The scenes will play out next week.
Coronation Street‘s Ryan Connor is rushed to the hospital next week after a surprise showdown with Sarah Platt becomes violent.
It all begins when, in scenes set to air next week, Ryan invites Bethany Platt over for a romantic dinner.
But when he tries to take things further later on in the evening, Bethany is haunted by the memories of her horrific grooming ordeal and lashes out.

She flees the apartment as a confused Ryan watches on, according to The Sun.
However, Sarah sees her daughter running away and decides to go and confront Ryan on what actually happened.
But as Ryan furiously brands Bethany a tease, Sarah is livid – and shoves him before storming out of the flat herself.
As she heads out the door, Ryan stumbles and hits his head – and is left lying unconscious on the floor.

Michelle and Robert later return home and ring an ambulance, as well as the police when they discover Ryan.
However, as Ryan begins to regain consciousness, he overhears Robert telling Michelle that he brought it on himself due to his poor behaviour.
And when the cops arrive to question him, Ryan is adamant that he remembers nothing.
While Bethany later tells her mum that Ryan did nothing wrong and she had a panic attack when he tries to kiss her, the damage is already done – and Sarah has to come clean as to what happened.

Later that week, Sarah goes to visit him in the hospital – and, again, he shows no sign of remembering what happened.
She still apologises, explaining that she’s overprotective of Bethany after what happened earlier this year.
And Sarah is left stunned when Ryan offers her a “get out of jail free” card – although it’s not immediately clear what he’s got in mind.
