A popular children’s playground in Dublin will be closed indefinitely after an arson attack late on Friday night.
According to RTÉ News, Griffith Park in Drumcondra suffered extensive damage and will remain closed until it is repaired.
Dublin City Council said that the fire was maliciously started and an investigation into the incident is underway.
The gardaí were notified but no arrests have been made. The park does not have CCTV cameras or overnight security in place.
