Emmerdale drops hints about an iconic character returning VERY soon

This would be AMAZING.

This would be AMAZING.

Emmerdale has hinted at the return of an iconic character next month – and fans reckon they have figured out who it is.

In scenes set to air in October, multi-millionaire Joe Tate is set to throw a huge masquerade ball at Home Farm. Emmerdale released an eerie teaser earlier this week that all but confirmed a character’s huge return.

And it all seems to be heavily linked to the mysterious person Graham Foster has been calling to keep up-to-date on Joe’s life.

The mysterious woman in the trailer is seen wearing a gold ornate mask, with her blonde hair mostly covered by her red hood.

So, basically, there’s no way to fully determine who it is – but fans think they have sussed out the identity of the woman anyways.

And, if they’re correct, it looks like Emmerdale viewers may be in for a real blast from the past.

Kim Tate – Joe’s step-grandmother – left Emmerdale almost 20 year ago after she hit Joe’s dad, Chris, over the head with a blunt object.

She fled in a helicopter with her son, James, as well as most of Chris’s cash – as he desperately tried to crawl quick enough to reach her.

She hasn’t been seen or heard from much since then, but she still remains a fan favourite character.
