Emmerdale fans reckon they have figured out who kidnapped Amelia Spencer

Amelia was last seen in Emmerdale on June 1.

The schoolgirl is still missing.

Emmerdale fans are convinced they have figured out the mystery of who has missing Amelia Spencer, after the teen was seen on CCTV.

She hasn’t been seen by anyone since June 1, when she appeared to vanish from the village – just after finding out that Daz Spencer is her biological father.

And while there had been fears that the worst may have happened to her, Thursday night’s second episode confirmed she was, in fact, still alive.

The second episode of Thursday night’s episodes saw Daz, played by Mark Jordon, taken into the police station for questioning after the cops reckoned he was chatting to her in an online chat room under a different name.

It emerged that Amelia had been chatting to someone named Helmand2009 and that, when she asked when she was able to come home, she was told that she had to stay away.

Daz denied that he had any involvement in it and was released, with the cops later going to his brother Dan’s house to tell him they had seen Amelia on CCTV.

The teenager could be seen walking along the street accompanied by a what appeared to be a female figure.

But none of Amelia’s features were visible, since her face could not be seen and her head was covered with a hood.

Eagle-eyed fans reckon they know who was walking alongside Amelia – Leanna Cavanagh, the daughter of the local GP Dr Liam Cavanagh.

Suspicions were first raised when, in an earlier episode, Leanna made a call about Amelia to the missing helpline.

She said:

“Hello? Yes, it’s about Amelia.

“Do I have any information? Well that depends whether or not there is a reward.”

So now basically, fans reckon that the teenager is telling Amelia not to come home until she has the reward money.
