Thankfully.
Emmerdale‘s Maya is planning to have sex with Jacob in tonight’s episode of the soap – an idea which is thankfully cast aside once she suddenly remembers how young he is.
The teacher’s desire to take their questionable, inappropriate, and disturbing relationship to the next level comes to a head this evening as she and the teenager are left alone in Jacob’s home.
Maya manages to coerce the teen up the stairs to his bedroom, fully ready to have sex with him for the first time (because he’s turning 16 soon, don’t you know).
However, when she notices the boy-ish paraphernalia around the bedroom, she is immediately turned off and has to leave.
Because he’s a boy, remember?
Maya makes her excuses and leaves before anything further can happen, but she isn’t entirely put off the idea of making him have sex with her – she just doesn’t want to do it in his bedroom.
Which is fair enough but also the woman is a predator who needs to take a long hard look at herself.
This comes just a few weeks after viewers were delighted that Jacob had finally called things off between the pair.
He urged Maya to choose between him and his dad – exemplifying just how twisted this whole grooming situation is, really.
But of course, their break was not meant to be and soon after, Maya was back lurking around the 15-year-old (soon to be 16 though, and legal, don’t you know?) and telling his dad that she only had eyes for him.
Honestly, just get rid of her, like.
N’able for it anymore.
The day after fleeing Jacob’s bedroom, Maya suggests that they take things to the summer houser instead – where it’ll be quieter and there’ll be less medals and trophies from Jacob’s schooling.
We really, really hope they don’t make it there in the end.
