Kate and William embraced the festivities today.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge marked St. Patrick’s Day in Hampshire today.
Kate and William attended a presentation at Mons Barracks in Aldershot.
They watched the 1st Battalion Irish Guards St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The royals presented shamrocks to Officers and Guardsmen.
Kate also presented shamrock to their mascot, Irish wolfhound Seamus.
During their visit, Kate joked around with a little girl.
The young girl gave Kate a beautiful bouquet of flowers during the royal engagement.
She later joked with one of the guardsmen who let the little girl wear his hat.
The Cambridges shared photos from the event and wished everyone a happy St. Patrick’s Day.
They wrote, “Happy St. Patrick’s Day wherever in the world you’re celebrating today!”
“Spending #StPatricksDay by joining the traditional St Patrick’s Day Parade with the Irish Guards at Mons Barracks, Aldershot, presenting the shamrock to Officers and Warrant Officers, alongside their mascot Seamus, the Irish wolfhound.”
The Duchess looked as beautiful as ever in a Lara Green London dress. She paired the forest green dress with green heels, a shamrock broch, and a matching hat too.
Kate has presented the shamrock to the Irish Guards since 2012.
Princess Anne and the Queen Mother previously held the role.
Prince William is also the royal colonel of the Irish Guards.
This is the first time the couple has been able to attend the event since before the pandemic.
