It was reported yesterday that the Hollywood actor had filed for divorce from Mavrakis due to irreconcilable differences.
The pair were married for 22 years.
Mavrakis has since stated that she has found the split “upsetting.”
The production designer told The Sun:
“It’s disappointing and upsetting but my main concern is our four children are OK.”
Mavrakis and McGregor have four children together – 21-year-old Clara, 16-year-old Jamyan, 15-year-old Esther, and 6-year-old Anouk.
Esther recently shared a song she had written entitled Made You a Man.
“I read some dumb sh*t that I found online. Seeing those pictures, they’re making me cry. Happy birthday to me, am I right?
“I don’t know if I can forgive. Ruining me sure made you a man.”
Mavarakis is reportedly filing for sole custody of all the couple’s children.
