Ireland’s first baby of 2018 was born in Limerick.
A little boy was welcomed into the world at just seven seconds after midnight in the University Maternity Hospital in Limerick.
According to Breaking News, there were two other babies born at the exact same time becoming the second babies born in 2018. They were born in Waterford and Tralee at 12:23am.
Another baby followed shortly after that in Wexford and was welcomed into the world at 12:30am.
Countries all around the world are celebrating the first babies born in the new year.
