Irishtown Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman was allegedly seriously assaulted on Tuesday morning.
The reported attack took place on Church Avenue in Irishtown, Dublin at approximately 1.30am on Tuesday. The woman was returning to her home when the incident occurred.
According to The Sun, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said:
“We are investigating a serious assault on a woman on Church Avenue, Irishtown at 1.30am on Tuesday, May 30.”
They are asking that anyone with information, or who was in the area at the time, to contact Irishtown Garda Station on 01 666 9600, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any local Garda Station.
