The Irish spirit may have been dampened by this weekend’s Belgian defeat, but our football fans are continuing to impress in France.
Not least this group of rowdy Irish fans, who got an awful lot less rowdy once they realised they were sharing a train carriage with a set of parents and a small baby.
Still in the singing spirit, however, the Irish fans serenaded the French tot with soothing lullabies – starting with the classic Twinkle Twinkle Little Star before moving on to Hush Little Baby.
Unsurprisingly, the bemused baby, wrapped in an Irish flag, does not fall asleep, staying wide-eyed instead to catch the full performance.
