It’s a boy for Jennifer Love Hewitt… and a rather unusual name

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and her husband Brian Hallisay have welcomed their second child.

Atticus James Hallisay arrived yesterday, a brother to 19-month-old Autumn James.

A classical name, Atticus has long been associated with intellect and learning. The best-known example is noble Atticus Finch in the book To Kill a Mockingbird.

Speaking to American Baby recently, the actress revealed all about her second pregnancy:

“I’ve been an actress for 25 years, and have had to be hungry at times for my career, so being pregnant is completely freeing,” she said. “When I was expecting Autumn, I ate everything I saw! I told myself, ‘Oh there’s a doughnut — I should have that.’ Now with this second pregnancy, I know the baby really doesn’t ‘need it.’ So I eat healthy foods in general, but I also indulge in little things that I crave.”

The parents, both actors, recently revealed they do not hire help to assist them with their young family, despite their busy schedules. Party of Five and I Know What You Did Last Summer star Jennifer told People:

“We didn’t have a night nurse, we didn’t have a nanny. We haven’t ever had any of that stuff. It’s been really interesting to do it all ourselves.”

See? They’re just like us, those celebrities.
