Katie Piper welcomed her second baby girl in December. She and husband Richard already have one daughter together, Belle, who is three.
She announced the news of the arrival on social media saying, “We’ve been blessed with the safe arrival of a baby girl. Our family is now complete.”
While she shared the sweet photo and update at the time, she never confirmed the baby’s name and kept it private until now.
Speaking to Hello Magazine, the star has now confirmed that she called her Penelope Diane.
Speaking about the name, Katie said:
“It was a name we’d had in mind for Belle and I’ve always liked it. We started referring to her as Penelope, even telling Belle because we figured it made the experience all the more real for her.
We were amazed when she didn’t let the cat out of the bag because she’s such a chatterbox.”
