It Looks Like We Might Have a White Easter…

We didn’t have a white Christmas (hardly surprising) but it seems we could be set for a white Easter.

According to JOE.ie, Ladbrokes have given odds of 6/1 on snowfall this Easter and reckon that Dublin Airport could close over Easter weekend because of it (odds of 9/2).

While we wouldn’t be the betting kind, we wouldn’t be surprised if some of the white stuff did fall. It wouldn’t be the first time cold conditions have arrived in March.

But we won’t have to wait until March 27th for cold conditions as temperatures this week are expected to be low.

Met Éireann says that today will see a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers, with tonight turning cold (close to zero degrees Celsius) and blustery.

Tomorrow will be much of the same; breezy and cold with dry spells and showers. Wednesday night will be cold with frost and fog developing in some areas.

Thankfully, milder conditions will arrive later in the week which gives us plenty of hope for the weekend!
