Although One Direction’s Liam Payne is yet to comment on girlfriend Cheryl’s rumoured pregnancy, it looks like the 23-year-old is feeling more than a little protective of his other-half.
Last night, Liam took to his Twitter account to slam X Factor judge Louis Walsh (who was on the panel both times Liam auditioned for the show).
Liam didn’t @ the Irish judge and band manager, but directed the tweets by name, claiming that Louis was setting a poor example of how his current X Factor finalists 5 After Midnight should handle media questions:
Congratulations Louis Walsh for setting the worst example on handling media for his band who are about to step into a very hard industry

This tweet was shortly followed it with a slightly more ‘direct’ statement:
Maybe it’s about time you realise it’s not all about you and shut the fuck up for once, let them speak

Hmm, what could have the young man feeling so cross?
The Daily Mail may be able to solve that mystery. Apparently, when Louis Walsh was asked what he’d do if Simon Cowell asked Cheryl to return to the judging panel the bold bowzy replied:
“Well Simon wouldn’t invite Cheryl back because we have Nicole. We have Nicole and Sharon, we don’t need another girl. So go and f*ck off now.”
Nice Louis. Real nice.
The Irish band manager was also reported to say:
“No silly questions, seriously. It’s not about Cheryl. Don’t be stupid.”
Liam may beg to differ on that one Mr. Walsh…
