A man has been charged in connection with the death of Amanda Carroll.
The 35-year-old male was questioned by Gardaí in relation to the violent death of the mother-of-two on Sunday.
Carroll was found dead on Sunday afternoon in her apartment in Homestead Court, Cabra. She had suffered marks to her head and neck that were consistent with a violent attack.
Carroll has two children – a five-year-old and a 16-year-old.
Her death is being treated as a domestic incident.
The 35-year-old man was charged in connection with the mother’s death last night.
He is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
