A very smart plan indeed.
Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle’s father, has been giving a lot of media interviews lately, a LOT and needless to say, it’s negatively impacted his daughter.
Understandably, Meghan has been very upset by the fact that her father has been outspoken about his thoughts on the royal family.
He’s not alone either as Meghan’s half-sister and brother have also voiced their opinions but if the latest report is to be believed, the former Suits actress has a plan to get things under control.
Damage control, to be specific.
Apparently, the 37-year-old is planning to get her mum involved as she’s currently staying with her in California (or so the celebrity rumour mill says anyway).
A source spoke to The Daily Mail and said that the situation with her family has become “embarrassing” for all involved.
“It has just become so embarrassing for Meghan. Like the elephant in the room when she’s with people she doesn’t know very well”.
The insider also explained what’s really annoyed Meghan about her father’s actions.
“What frustrates Meghan the most is that her father doesn’t seem to take responsibility for any his actions, as if he can do no harm, and everyone else is to blame”.
This source went on to explain why Meghan is now open to getting her mum involved in a bid to work some “magic behind the scenes”.
“So far, Meghan’s mom hasn’t gotten involved, but that may all change when they see each other in person. Meghan has been adamant that her mom not get dragged into all the drama.
“But if anyone can talk some sense into her dad, it’s Doria. Meghan is now open to the possibility of her mom working some magic behind the scenes”.
Who knows, this plan, a smart plan to be fair, might actually work!
