Before Meghan Markle was a member of the royal family, when she was simply a world-famous TV star, she was very into her social media.
As the star of hit show Suits, Meghan earned herself over three million followers on Instagram.
She gave her fans a pretty candid glimpse into her world through her account, sharing everything from selfies and holiday snaps to photos of herself and her co-stars on set and adorable pictures of her two dogs, Bogart and Guy.
Meghan also used her Instagram to promote her lifestyle blog, The Tig, and raise awareness of the humanitarian causes she was involved in.

We loved following her, but the photos suddenly stopped when her relationship with Prince Harry was made public.
Meghan went on to shut down all of her social media and her blog earlier this year as she prepared to become a member of the royal family.
The key family members don’t have their own personal accounts – at least until yesterday.
Meghan’s old account reappeared briefly yesterday, showing old posts of hers.

Some more recent ones were missing but most were there, giving fans hope that she was making a return to social media and we’d get to see her taking Boomerangs at Christmas in Kensington Palace.
Sadly, the account disappeared shortly afterwards and our hopes were dashed.
It turns out that it was likely nothing more than a “system glitch”, according to royal reporter Omid Scobie.
For those of you asking, Duchess Meghan is not making a return to Instagram. You can blame a system glitch for her account resurfacing on the app this morning? pic.twitter.com/sz3JWbJ0fD

No selfies with the Queen, then.
