You can put off the search for a winter coat for another few days; the unseasonably mild weather is set to continue until midweek.
Much of Ireland was bathed in sunshine over the Halloween weekend, with temperatures climbing as high as 16 degrees, compared to November averages of between eight to 14 degrees.
All good things must come to an end however, and clouds will return on Tuesday, with Met Eireann predicting unsettled conditions thereafter.
Meanwhile thick fog across Ireland and the UK is causing travel chaos, with most flights out of London airports cancelled. Aer Lingus has cancelled eight flights today and a further two flights tomorrow until conditions improve.
