Our thoughts are with his family.
Last week Gardaí put out an appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 64 year old John Courtney who is missing from the Donnybrook area of Dublin 4 on the 26th of April.
They stated that John’s family were very concerned for his well-being.
Sadly, following the discovery of human remains on the Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4 on 20th June and subsequent DNA analysis by Forensic Science Ireland, the missing person appeal for John Courtney has been stood down.
An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.
