They’re due to finalise their divorce in February.

A new update has been given on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s custody battle, which suggests that they’ve been able to come to an amicable agreement.

Up until this point, it was reported that Angelina wanted sole physical custody of the couple’s six children, Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 9.

Now, a source says they are in a better place than they have been in months, which has resulted in a better agreement for the both of them, and the children. They told Life& Style:

“Brad and Angelina are near an amiable agreement on the kids. They’re in a better place than they have been in a long time and should be settling their divorce and custody agreement by sometime in February.”

As recent as Christmas, Angelina didn’t allow Brad to spend much time with the kids. But, now it looks like she’s going to make a change.

This development follows advice friends have given Angelina, urging her to reconsider her demands given that she has taken on so much in recent months. She has signed up for lots of new projects, including a sequel to Maleficent, and also wants to keep up her aid and charity work.

The couple are expected to finalise their divorce and custody agreement in February.
