It might be a blessing in disguise that Halloween events and trick or treating are off this year as it looks like Halloween night might be a bad one weather wise.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for several counties as Storm Aiden is set to hit this weekend.

The Status Orange wind warning has been issued for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Clare.
On Saturday morning there will be strong southerly winds veering southwesterly associated with Storm Aiden will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80km/h, with severe and damaging gusts of 100 to 130km/h.
All remaining counties have been given a Status Yellow wind warning with strong to gale force southerly winds will veer westerly. Some severe gusts are possible.
