Ladies, let’s be honest; we all know that a little browsing session in Penneys can quickly turn into a two hour+ try-on-the-entire-store kind of an afternoon – much to the despair of our husbands or partners.
I have found myself wishing on more than a few occasions that, much like Ikea have their Småland where you can pop your kids in for an hour or two while you browse, Penneys would go ahead and install something similar. A man-creche if you like.
Men across the nation have obviously had the same thoughts too for quite some time.
You know what Penneys need? Seats to sit on when partners / friends go shopping

@Primark can you get some seats by the changing rooms, every male in the country would thank you for it

And guess what, boys? Your prayers have now been answered.
Irish blogger Lorna behind the popular fashion blog Penneys and Pieces of Me was browsing her way through the Blanchardstown store earlier this week when she came across this amazing discovery:
Now, lads; complain of weary legs and shopping fatigue no more. Here is dedicated little area for you to plonk your little behinds down and whittle the hours away while you wives or girlfriends keeps doing what she does best.
Now, we bet you are curious whether this genius concepts will be exclusive to Penneys in Blanchardstown, or whether you can expect to find a “man creche” at your local Penneys anytime soon?
Here is what Penneys Ireland’s Stephanie Game had to say:
“Penneys continues to enhance the customer experience at every opportunity… Customer seating areas with built in phone recharge points are one of our most recent additions. The five stores include Blanchardstown, Mullingar, Newbridge, O’Connell Street (Dublin) and Swords. We also have them in all of our US stores.”
Let the Christmas shopping bonanza begin, people!
