George Clooney says that his wife Amal will avoid travelling to “places where she knows she is not welcome” while she is pregnant.
The 55-year-old actor told Paris Match that both he and his human rights lawyer wife will be more cautious about their travel arrangements now that Amal is pregnant with twins,
“We have decided to be much more responsible, to avoid danger. I will not go to South Sudan or the Congo any more and Amal will no longer go to Iraq; she will avoid places where she knows she is not welcome.
Before, I didn’t care, I would even say that there was a pretty exciting side to going where no reporter had ever been.
We have the chance to live between three countries: Italy, America and England. But as soon as the children go to school, it will be necessary to choose where we settle. In the meantime, we will continue to move according to our respective schedules.”
George also told the publication that he and Amal are rarely apart,
“People think we’re never together, but we haven’t been separated for more than a week.”
The Ocean’s Eight star also put paid to rumours that they are expecting a boy and a girl,
“We are very happy…but also a bit nervous. I don’t know where this rumour comes from that we’re going to have a boy and a girl. We ourselves don’t know yet and don’t want to know.”
