If you haven’t seen this then you absolutely must.
One of the most best movies so far this year is Coco, and it seems it’s even passed the royal test after becoming Prince George’s favourite movie. That and Paddington, of course.
Kate Middleton was at the BAFTAs on Sunday where she disclosed the details of his favourite flicks, which has changed from The Lion King in recent months.
According to The Daily Mail, she was speaking to Lee Unkrich, who directed the much-loved animation Coco, when she said, “I’m desperate to see it. Lots of girlfriends have been to see it with their kiddies and been really impressed with it.
They are just getting into films now, George is four-and-a-half. Paddington is definitely up there, and so is Coco now.”
Kate also said that George takes after dad William when it comes to his love of films.
Coco is about the Mexican national holiday, the Day of the Dead, or Día de Muertos. The central character Miguel has a dream of becoming a musician but his family won’t approve. Not only is music banned from their house but all aspects of their lives.
But, Miguel is determined to prove his talent and accidentally finds himself in the land of the dead where he must track down his long-lost grandfather, who is a musician, to help get back home.
It was at the top of the Irish box office for weeks and is well worth a trip to the cinema with the kids.
