This is adorable.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had the sweetest surprise for one of their biggest fans on her 99th birthday.
It’s pretty safe to say that Daphne Dunne is Prince Harry’s biggest fan: the pair met twice, once in 2015 and once in 2017.
During their royal tour last October, he even made sure to introduce Meghan to Daphne outside Sydney Opera House.

Daphne celebrated her 99th birthday on Friday, and got the most adorable birthday wishes from the Sussexes to mark the occasion.
Australia’s Today Show shared the exciting news of the royal parents-to-be’s message with Daphne, who admitted she didn’t actually expect the message.

“He wouldn’t even think of [sending a birthday wish],” she said.
But it turns out that a friend had sent Prince Harry a message letting him know Daphne’s birthday was approaching – and he replied overnight, sending a heartwarming message to her.
It read:
“Dear Daphne,
“My wife and I send our warmest wishes to you on the occasion of your 99th birthday on Friday.
“We hope you have a wonderful celebration surrounded by family and friends and that you’ve managed to escape hospital.
“Congratulations on reaching this important and impressive milestone before your centenary year next year. Happy birthday, Daphne.
“Best wishes, Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
Daphne and Prince Harry first met in May 2015, when he went on a walkabout near the Sydney Opera House.

They met again two years later, in 2017, when Daphne braved the rain to greet Prince Harry when he visited Australia to promote the Invictus Games.

Last year, the adorable pair met for the third time when the Sussexes were on a royal tour in Australia – and thankfully, 7News Sydney managed to capture the sweet moment.
