According to reports, a pedestrian has been struck by a Luas.
The incident is thought to have occurred near the junction between Abbey St & O’Connell St.
Roads in the area have now been closed and services between Smithfield and the Point have now been suspended.

Niamh Maher, a journalist with Her, was on the Luas just before the collision and explained how Gardai arrived at the scene and ensured everyone exited the tram.

The condition of the person is not yet known and emergency services are at the scene.
