Advertisements are powerful things. They can make you laugh. They can make you cry.
They can also make you talk. And that is the aim of this advertisement – part of the ‘No More’ campaign -shown during last night’s Super Bowl.
It aims to highlight that domestic and sexual violence can come in many forms in the hope of spreading awareness about it and educating people about how to help.
The short clip shows a text conversation between two friends, one of whom has decided to skip a party because her boyfriend is in “one of his moods.”

The reaction to the ad has been largely positive and it undoubtedly delivers an incredibly important message that resonates with many women and men across the globe.
