Be prepared – this may ruin your childhood.
Someone has unearthed an old clip from a Thomas the Tank Engine cartoon from our childhood and noticed something very disturbing about it. In this particular episode, they decide to punish one of the tank engines, Henry.
Henry doesn’t want to go out of his tunnel because it’s raining and he doesn’t want his lovely green and red paint to get destroyed.
Instead of trying to make him feel better, they try to coax him out. When that fails, they decided to build a wall at the entrance to the tunnel so he can’t leave and they also took away his tracks.
The episode was first aired in 1984 and it’s only now that adults are realising how sad it is.
There’s a Thomas the Tank episode where a stubborn train is punished by being entombed alive forever and it’s worse than any horror movie pic.twitter.com/Bn1Y0PTItL
