A three-year-old boy has died in Crumlin, Dublin.
According to a Garda statement released this evening, emergency services arrived at the property at around 7 pm and the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was found with injuries at the Poddle Park address and taken to St James Hospital where her condition is described as serious.
The area has been closed off for a technical investigation and the State Pathologist has been notified.
