UPDATE: Reo Ulett and Lovelle Taylor-Hibbert have been found safe and well.
A massive manhunt is underway in Manchester for two little boys who disappeared on Monday night.
Rio Ulett, aged 11, and his friend Lovelle Taylor-Hibbert, aged nine, from Fallowfield were overheard by friends discussing the idea of going on a camping trip. Their families says they have no equipment or money.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the alarm was raised after Rio failed to turn up as scheduled at his grandparents home. He was last seen at 5pm wearing a grey Ralph Lauren tracksuit, a black Nike t-shirt and black Nike Haurache runners.
Lovelle was last seen at around 8pm on Dorset Road, in Levenshulme. He was wearing a black hoodie, green tracksuit pants and a black t-shirt. The children’s families are said to be ‘frantic’ with worry.
Local Inspector Paul Coburn said:
“Neither of these boys has ever been missing before and as people can imagine, their families are absolutely frantic with worry.
“One of the boys’ friends overheard discussions that the pair were thinking about going camping, but they had no equipment to do this and no food or money.
“We have been making numerous efforts to find these boys overnight and are appealing for the public to help us today.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police in GMP’s City of Manchester Team on 0161 856 3921.
